​The Art of Heart
Jim Dine is an American artist who rose to prominence in the late-1950’s New York. His heart paintings and sculptures are deeply personal symbols representing love, emotion, and memory. Students in three classes (Drawing, Painting, and 2D/3D Design) were challenged to create works of art around the theme of hearts, an homage to Jim Dine.
